Financial Consultant
As a Private Wealth Advisor in an RIA, you will oversee established book of ultra-high net worth clients. You will utilize your experience with alternative investments and private placements to offer sophisticated solutions tailored to each client's needs. Supported by a skilled financial analysis team, you will conduct comprehensive Financial Planning Reviews and provide consistent, year-round guidance to assist clients in achieving their long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Take full ownership of client relationships, including preparing meeting agendas, managing client correspondence, and ensuring all tasks are completed.
- Manage an existing book of business that is within the practice.
- Collaborate with business development to conduct prospective client meetings, present the firm's value proposition, and secure new business (no self-sourcing required).
- Implement financial plans and investment strategies.
- Participate in weekly Wealth Management prep meetings and bi-weekly department meetings.
- Analyze financial data using financial planning software and present findings.
- Provide empathetic financial guidance, understanding the emotional aspects of financial decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Financial Planning required.
- Master's or graduate degree strongly preferred (e.g., Master’s in Finance, CPA, CAIA, MBA).
- CFP is preferred or candidacy.
- Series 65, or 66.
- Experience working with UHNW clients and helping them with advanced planning and tax strategies.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Currently possess or are pursuing a Series 65 securities license (must obtain within 90 days of employment).
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.
