Escrow Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring all parties involved are informed and updated throughout the process.
• Review contracts and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and distribute escrow instructions, including the calculation of proration and other financial details.
• Coordinate with lenders, title companies, and other parties to ensure a smooth closing process.
• Conduct research and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the escrow process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to each escrow transaction.

• Knowledge and proficiency with Qualia system
• Knowledge of basic math principles to perform calculations related to escrow transactions.
• Familiarity with contracts and legal documents related to real estate transactions.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in the escrow process.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reviewing documents and performing calculations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple escrow transactions simultaneously.
• Previous experience working as an Escrow Officer is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience and qualifications
