Investment Banking Director

Location: REMOTE/HYBRID out of Houston, TX

Company Summary:
We are currently partnered with a specialty boutique investment bank looking to add Director level talent to their active team. This individual will have the option to work with the team in person in Houston, TX or sit remotely from a location of their choice and travel to Houston on an as needed basis. This individual will have the opportunity to join as a Director with a clear path for MD promotion, and will play a key part in the growth and the succession planning of the firm.

The Investment Banking Director will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and assisting execution of current active deals
• Building a book of business in their chosen industry sector
• Generate new deal opportunities
• Lead valuation analysis, financial modeling review, due diligence, and negotiation strategies
• Provide insight on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and strategic alternatives
• Be a key player in the growth and succession plan of the firm

The Investment Banking Director should have:

• At least 8 years of Investment Banking experience
• Experience interacting closely with clients, maintaining relationships, and pitching
• Experience both originating and executing transactions
• Deep bench of industry knowledge in the Industrials, Diversified Industrials, Environmental Services, T&L, or related sector/subsectors
