What you’ll do…

As a G&A Analyst, you will implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis function that will provide leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the company’s general and administrative (G&A) spend. This position will also support the strategic aspects of the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecast process for the company by communicating and coordinating with department managers and accountants on the established schedule, collecting, consolidating, and analyzing the appropriate data, and preparing requested reports by senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the strategic business planning process
  • Routinely communicating with different cost center owners to track budget vs actual performance
  • Assisting cost center owners maintain their G&A forecast to align with business
  • Tracking CAPEX spend and developing a depreciation schedule based on assets in service
  • Assisting in preparing presentations in support of monthly/quarterly/annual leadership meetings
  • Preparing budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data
  • Assisting in achieving budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Providing status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
  • Preparing special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Assisting with ad-hoc information requests, projects, and analysis
  • Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company’s management
Requirements

Required Qualifications &

Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning
  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or relevant degree
  • Advance Proficiency of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to be detailed oriented while thinking strategically
  • Well‑organized with ability to prioritize
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CCA or equivalent) is a plus
  • SQL, Power BI, and data science experience is a plus
  • Experience working for a retail energy provider, or energy‑service‑oriented or manufacturing, maintenance, and repair business preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly growing environment
Preferred:
  • Experience creating and managing complex and detailed corporate budgets/forecasts
  • Strong experience in working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve organization financial performance
  • Have a thorough understanding of budgetary and accounting principles, practices, and policies
  • Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability to operate successfully in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
