Job Description Do you thrive in dynamic environments where precision, organization, and adaptability are keys to success? We’re seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to support a technology-driven organization serving Houston and its surrounding areas. If you enjoy managing financial workflows while playing a critical operational role, this role could be your next career move!

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and provide variance analysis to guide financial decisions.
  • Monitor spending and recommend budget adjustments based on financial insights and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal policies, and support audit preparation.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable processes, including invoice entry, reconciliations, and vendor payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile bank/credit card statements regularly.
  • Support daily accounting operations such as payroll, expense reimbursements, and transaction verification.
  • Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and support internal reporting needs.
  • Contribute to process improvements, workflow automation, and overall efficiency in accounting functions.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with bookkeeping, AR/AP, general ledger, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Practiced working with Quick Books Online, Microsoft Excel, and MAC computer
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the professionalism to handle sensitive financial and HR information
  • Proven ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Schedule:
  • Part Time – 3 Days in Office
  • After training, transition into a hybrid schedule with a blend of in‑office and work‑from‑home days.
  • Potential for a full‑time role based on performance and willingness to take on expanded administrative support.
Pay Rate:
  • $22 - $30/Hour
  • Depending on Experience
