Head of Tax; Tax

Hire Force is working with a leading International Law firm to hire a Head of Tax to join their finance team on a 15-month contract
. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee all tax compliance and planning while managing partner finance matters and ensuring continuity within all tax processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior tax professional with experience in Income Tax/ Private clients
, looking to join a fast‑paced firm working closely with the senior leadership team while utilising your tax expertise in an impactful role.

• Take ownership of Irish tax compliance, including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, and VAT filings.
• Lead and coordinate all tax reporting and filings, working closely with advisors and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate submission.
• Drive process improvements within the tax function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay ahead of changes in tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the key operational contact for partner queries, maintaining clear and continuous communication.
• Oversee partner finance operations, including drawings, distributions, and capital repayments.
• Provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision‑making across the business.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships with advisors, HR, and the internal finance team to foster collaboration.

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA) with 7+ years’ experience in Tax.
• Strong technical experience in managing tax compliance and risk.
• Income Tax/Private Clients experience is needed.

Strong base salary on offer because it’s a contract, plus completion bonus.
