Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending

Job Overview

First Community Credit Union is looking for a Senior Vice President (SVP) for our Real Estate Lending team, based out of our Copperfield headquarters (Northwest Houston). This individual will have responsibility for the entire mortgage lending team, with direct reports managing daily operations. The ideal candidate for this role will focus on expanding our lending footprint outside the Houston region.

• Lead and manage the mortgage lending team, including recruiting, training, and supervising mortgage loan officers.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow statewide originations in major metro markets such as Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio.
• Aide loan officers in pursuing market share and achieving performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership to align lending goals with the organization’s strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of eight years of mortgage lending experience.
• Proven experience in statewide originations and established connections in major Texas metro markets.
• Strong leadership and team‑building skills.
• Flexibility for travel.
