Corporate Controller

A privately-held, multi-entity organization is seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations across its operating business and related entities. This individual will serve as the senior accounting leader while remaining actively involved in financial reporting, close, and operational accounting.

This role partners closely with executive leadership and is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and supporting business performance. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and thrives in a hands‑on, lean environment.

• Oversee and participate in general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and monthly close
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements across multiple entities
• Manage consolidations, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and operational results
• Maintain accounting and reporting for multiple legal entities, including real estate holdings
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Establish and improve internal controls, systems, and accounting processes
• Partner with leadership to support financial planning and operational decisions

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
• Experience managing multi‑entity accounting and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and advanced Excel proficiency

• Experience in multi‑location or operationally complex environments
• Background in privately held organizations
