Overview
Galleria area real estate development/property management company has 2 openings for Senior Property Accountants. This role is 100% in office and you will need to live in Houston and be able to commute to the Galleria area on a daily basis.
Responsibilities- Complete monthly financials for 10-12 properties
- Review payables/receivables
- Daily account analysis for money market investments
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Provide financial information to auditors, tax consultants, lenders, and partners
- Coordinate and complete annual budgets
- Assist in the preparation of recoveries, 1099 & sales tax; coordinate tax return preparation
- Complete monthly/quarterly cash analysis, monthly/quarterly distributions & quarterly investor reports
- May be involved in preparation of construction draws and other special projects assigned by the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer
- Bachelor s degree in accounting
- Commercial retail property accounting experience required
- Solid financial reporting experience
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Currently using Yardi; strong knowledge of this real estate software is a plus
Salary range is $85-95K based upon experience.
