Senior Cost Analyst

Overview

New Tech Global is partnering with Tuboscope to hire a Senior Cost Analyst for their Corrosion Control manufacturing operations in Houston. This role reports directly to the VP of Finance and will play a critical role in strengthening cost visibility, improving plant profitability, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

• Lead cost accounting analysis, audits, and variance reporting across manufacturing facilities
• Partner closely with Plant Leadership to drive financial performance and operational improvements
• Lead implementation and maintenance of Cost Configurator within JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system
• Support budgeting, forecasting, WIP analysis, and month-end financial reporting
• Provide insights to improve product costing accuracy, operational efficiency, and margins
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and maintain strong financial controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong Excel and ERP experience (JDE preferred; Oracle Hyperion/Smart View a plus)
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and partner with operations leadership
