Fund Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to support fund-level accounting, reporting, and close processes across a growing portfolio of clean energy investments.

• Manage fund-level accounting for renewable energy investment vehicles, including monthly and quarterly closes, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Support capital activity, including capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and related notices.
• Maintain and reconcile capital accounts, waterfalls, and partner allocations across multiple funds and SPVs.
• Coordinate with FP&A, asset management, and project finance teams to ensure accurate reflection of project-level activity at the fund level.
• Assist with annual audits, tax deliverables, and coordination with external auditors, tax advisors, and administrators.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency as the platform scales.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 4–8+ years of experience in fund accounting, private equity, infrastructure, or real asset investment environments.
• Experience with renewable energy, infrastructure, or project-based investments strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, partnership accounting, and investment fund structures.
• Hands‑on experience with capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, Yardi, eFront, or similar) a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
