Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations for the organization. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, hands‑on accounting expertise, and experience within manufacturing or construction environments. This position will play a critical role in driving financial strategy and supporting business growth.

• Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cost accounting.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Partner with operations and project teams to improve cost controls, job costing, and profitability.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and working capital.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Implement and optimize large ERP systems and enhance accounting processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required).
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Manufacturing or Construction industry experience required.
• Strong experience working with large ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Experience with job costing, WIP reporting, and percentage‑of‑completion accounting.
• Proven ability to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
