- The development analyst’s responsibilities will include market research, feasibility analysis, financial underwriting, preparing investment materials, preparing reports for current and prospective investors, financial analysis of existing properties, and assisting in all aspects of the development team’s functions
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including pro forma models and sensitivity analyses
- Research market data, comparables, operating expenses, and construction costs to support feasibility studies
- Gather, compile, and analyze demographic, economic, and competitive market data
- Support entitlement and permitting reviews under direction of Development Team
- Assist with transaction due diligence, including coordination with consultants, title companies, and legal advisors
- Prepare offering memoranda for investors and lenders
- Assist in the preparation of Development Committee materials
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Prior experience (including internships) in real estate, finance, consulting, or related fields preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on experience in market research, feasibility analysis, underwriting, and transaction execution.
- Direct exposure to senior leadership, contributing to strategy and high-level decision-making.
