Accounts Receivable​/Billing Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced AR/Billing Manager with a strong accounting foundation and proven leadership capabilities to oversee and optimize the accounts receivable and billing function. This role requires a proactive, process-driven leader who understands the full accounting cycle, including the impact of AR on the general ledger, and who has successfully managed high-volume invoicing environments. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with Net Suite, has led teams through operational transformation (including paperless initiatives), and thrives in fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environments.

The role can be open to hybrid once fully acclimated and the base salary ranges from $120k to $160k depending on experience.

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable and Billing team
• Oversee high‑volume invoicing processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Ensure proper revenue recognition and alignment with accounting policies
• Maintain a strong understanding of AR subledger activity and its integration into the General Ledger
• Perform month‑end close responsibilities related to AR, including reconciliations and reporting
• Drive continuous process improvements, including automation and digitization initiatives
• Lead company‑wide efforts to transition to a paperless AR/billing environment
• Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance to resolve billing discrepancies
• Develop and monitor KPIs around DSO, aging, collections, and cash application
• Mentor, coach, and develop AR/Billing team members
• Ensure internal controls are in place and adhered to

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5–10+ years of progressive AR/Billing experience
• Prior management or team leadership experience required – will manage a team of 20 and revamp the team
• Strong accounting knowledge with solid understanding of GL impact and reconciliations
• High-volume invoicing experience
• Hands‑on Net Suite experience required
• Proven experience implementing process improvements or leading a transition to paperless systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to operate proactively and strategically, not just transactionally
