Description

WHO WE ARE

Founded in 1983, Westwood offers a broad array of investment solutions to institutional investors, private wealth clients and financial intermediaries. The firm specializes in several distinct investment capabilities: U.S. Value Equity, Multi-Asset, Energy & Real Assets, Income Alternatives, Tactical Absolute Return and Managed Investment Solutions, which are available through separate accounts, The Westwood Funds family of mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and other pooled vehicles.

Westwood trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "WHG." Based in Dallas, Westwood also maintains offices in Chicago and Houston.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Westwood Wealth, we are more than advisors—we are stewards of our clients’ financial well-being, delivering personalized, high-touch service with discretion, precision, and care to high-net-worth individuals and families. Our clients trust us with what matters most, and we honor that trust by ensuring every interaction is seamless, proactive, and deeply personalized.

The Private Client Wealth Advisor serves as the day-to-day lead for planning and advice, translating a family’s goals into concrete plans and actions. Acting as the “quarterback,” you coordinate ongoing work across investments, planning, tax and estate considerations, and family dynamics. You turn complex situations into clear recommendations with defined implementation steps. You also drive the agenda for regular meetings and ensure the right specialists are engaged so plans move from ideas on paper to visible execution over time.

This is a non–business development role; advisors are not required to source clients or bring an existing book of business, as the position focuses exclusively on serving and advising existing relationships. For this position, we define high net worth households as those with under $10MM in net worth, and this role focuses exclusively on serving that segment.

Team Coordination, Execution, and Monitoring ("Quarterbacking")

  • Acting as the primary advisory point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communication and requests
  • Delegating research, modeling, and preparation work to Wealth Associates with clear instructions and feedback
  • Monitoring progress on key action items and keeping client teams on track, including leveraging the Client Service Associate to execute account changes, cash movement, and documentation
  • Ensuring internal specialists feel well-briefed and engaged at the right depth and timing
