Position Summary
We are seeking an Up-C Tax Manager to join a publicly traded, high-growth organization in the aerospace and technology sector with operations across the United States. This role will lead complex partnership tax matters, including Up-C structuring, Tax Receivable Agreements (TRAs), and ASC 740 income tax provisions, while supporting compliance, reporting, and strategic tax initiatives.
This is an on-site contract role with potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position.
Essential Duties- Lead Tax Receivable Agreement (TRA) calculations, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Manage federal, state, and local partnership tax compliance and return review.
- Direct ASC 740 income tax provision preparation and related SEC disclosures.
- Analyze tax impacts of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings.
- Oversee tax audits, inquiries, and documentation of tax positions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax forecasting and planning.
- Ensure compliance with evolving federal and state tax regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Active CPA or CPA candidate required.
- 5+ years of federal partnership tax experience.
- Experience with Up‑C structures and Tax Receivable Agreements (TRAs) required.
- Prior Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations.
- Expertise in ASC 740 income tax provisions.
- Experience with tax software and ERP systems.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage complex, multi‑tiered tax structures.
No travel will be required, unless at the client’s discretion.

SalaryRange
The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $80 – 100.
