About the Role

The Treasury Lead is responsible for overseeing the company's treasury functions, including liquidity management, cash flow optimization, and financial risk mitigation within the Engineering Thermoplastics industry. This role involves managing a team focused on treasury and tax operations and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic financial objectives. The Treasury Lead plays a critical role in enhancing the company's financial stability and supporting strategic initiatives through expert financial management.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Oversee liquidity management to ensure the company maintains sufficient cash flow for operations and strategic investments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash utilization and improve financial efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage cash flows to optimize working capital and support business operations.
  • Implement cash management policies and procedures to enhance forecasting and planning.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to currency exchange, interest rates, and credit.
  • Develop risk management strategies to protect the company’s financial health and minimize exposure.
  • Manage treasury operations including banking relationships, investments, and debt management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Oversee the Treasury Tax team to develop and implement tax strategies that optimize tax positions and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and adherence to local and international tax regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in financial matters and negotiations to secure favorable terms.
  • Lead and mentor the Treasury Tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop team members' skills and capabilities through training and professional development programs.
  • Work closely with the CFO to align treasury initiatives with overall business strategy.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, and other functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of financial projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) in a relevant discipline and professional certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in treasury roles, preferably within the engineering thermoplastics or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience leading treasury teams and managing complex financial strategies and operations.
  • Expertise in liquidity management, cash flow optimization, risk mitigation, and treasury operations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in using treasury management tools and software.
