Responsibilities
  • The Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) will be responsible for managing and aggressively growing treasury revenue across a portfolio of highly complex and high value Large Corporate Natural Resource (NRG) clients.
  • TSO will focus on growth of new and underpenetrated client relationships and expansion of existing relationships with a consultative selling approach and deep client engagement.
  • TSO will be accountable for revenue growth, profitability, client planning, client calling intensity, portfolio development, pricing strategy, and proposal/presentation development/delivery.
  • TSO will maintain a strong client focus, treasury industry expertise, understanding of the evolving innovation landscape, client subsector expertise and a broad understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of global cash management products and services.
  • TSO will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to influence, lead and mobilize business partners, and appropriate financial acumen.
  • TSO must also be motivated to maintain a consistent level of goal achievement and be willing to challenge themselves.
  • Produce responsible revenue and balance sheet growth, profitability improvement, client calling and planning, portfolio development, pricing strategy, proposal responses, and leading client‑facing treasury presentations.
  • Collaborate with bankers and Product Specialists across the enterprise to develop customized treasury solutions by identifying new opportunities based on client‑focused cost and benefit analysis and bank‑focused profitability analysis.
  • Drive pricing and negotiation discussions with the client for treasury management products to optimize relationship profitability and Year over Year (YoY) growth.
  • Advise within the Client Management Process (CMP), focusing on client relationship development from growth of new client relationships to deepening existing relationship through thoughtful identification of client needs.
  • Influence digital adoption by driving mobile, digital and real‑time payments adoption and manage strategic dialogues around key client centric issues, while leveraging best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solutioning positioning.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Treasury Sales Analysts (TSAs), Treasury Sales Officers (TSOs), and Treasury Sales Client Officers (TSCOs) in day‑to‑day support of client deliverables.
  • Maintain regular client interactions and deepen those relationships with on‑site or virtual meetings, industry conferences, round tables, and client events.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Treasury sales or a similar role
  • Treasury / cash management industry experience, including global product knowledge and industry trends
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
