Mgr International Accounting

Position: Mgr International Accounting - 009096
The Manager, International Accounting will oversee a team that supports EOG's current international operations as well as any new ventures. The position is located in Houston, TX, with the key responsibilities below:

* Oversee a team of approximately 10 employees and contractors, with oversight of:

* Accounting for revenue, volumes, expenses, capital expenditures and intercompany transactions

* Vendor onboarding and accounts payable

* Contract reviews for proper accounting

* Monthly forecasting and budgeting

* Staff development and mentoring

* Work closely with management and commercial teams to provide support on accounting, forecasting, and financial analysis for current operations as well as potential transactions.

* Work closely with local, in-country accounting teams to ensure accuracy of financial data, forecasts, and analyses passed to corporate.

* Coordinate with the Corporate Financial Reporting team to ensure accuracy of financial data and variance analyses.

* Manage monthly management financial statement preparation, analyzing variances from forecast, and reporting significant issues.

* Prepare ad-hoc presentations to the executive management team.

* Oversee compliance with accounting policies and procedures and internal controls.

* Coordinate communications with internal and external auditors.
