About the Role
The Cashiering Specialist will be the point of contact for advisor’s questions pertaining to money movement issues and questions. This includes but not limited to transfers, check deposits, journals, and beneficiary claims. They will be responsible for providing decisions or pertinent information to advisors as well as reviewing required documentation to verify it is in good order to proceed with the requested action.
Responsibilities- Act as an advocate for VFA Broker Dealer by utilizing excellent communication, problem solving, research and analytical skills to assist with complex issues regarding account statuses, balances, account transfers, and general inquiries.
- Provide professional, accurate and prompt service to field partners and clients with a sense of urgency at all times.
- Be available to work any shift within our hours of operations (8am-5pm CST).
- 2+ years’ experience in financial industry or related field.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal.
- Organized with the ability to complete multiple tasks under various deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Able to work in a fast paced, metric driven environment.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet business needs.
This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
CompensationThe anticipated salary range for this position is $45,000 to $46,000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
