Houston, TX | Interim / Contract Engagement | 40+ Hours per Week

Our client, a $1B+ revenue private equity-backed software and technology-enabled services organization is seeking an experienced Interim CFO to step into a critical leadership role during a period of significant operational and financial transformation. This organization operates within a recurring-revenue technology model and is actively executing enterprise-wide ERP and finance transformation initiatives in partnership with external advisors. The company is seeking a highly strategic yet deeply hands-on finance executive who can stabilize the organization, drive execution, and partner closely with executive leadership and PE stakeholders.

This is a high-visibility opportunity for a proven operator who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments and has recent experience leading finance organizations within $1B+ revenue businesses.

• Lead day-to-day finance operations for a large-scale technology organization with recurring revenue streams
• Stabilize and optimize the finance function during a critical leadership transition
• Partner closely with external advisors and internal stakeholders on ERP implementation and finance transformation initiatives
• Drive improvements across forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, cash flow management, and operational finance
• Support executive leadership with strategic planning, board-level reporting, and operational decision-making
• Assess and enhance finance processes, systems, and organizational structure
• Serve as a hands-on finance leader capable of balancing strategic oversight with tactical execution
• Operate effectively within a high-urgency, execution-focused environment requiring speed, accountability, and operational discipline

• Recent CFO experience within a $1B+ revenue organization required
• Strong background within SaaS, recurring-revenue technology, or technology-enabled services environments
• Demonstrated success leading ERP implementations and large-scale finance transformation initiatives
• Experience operating in complex, high-growth, or highly demanding business environments
• Proven ability to drive execution, accountability, and process improvement
• Prior experience partnering with private equity sponsors, boards, and external advisors strongly preferred
