The Mortgage Originations Compliance Program Manager develops, collaborates, and administers aspects of the compliance risk management program for Cornerstone Home Lending (CHL), a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, and its affiliates. In this role, you will work with business line managers, subject‑matter experts, and Enterprise Risk Management partners to help ensure CHL and its affiliates operate in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations in mortgage lending.

• Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and other compliance program elements for CHL and its affiliates.
• Assist in tracking changes and updates to regulatory agencies’ policy statements, guidance, and new or revised disclosures.
• Periodically review current disclosures, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct periodic vendor risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks.
• Collaborate with ERM partners and line‑of‑business teams to ensure timely implementation of compliance changes.
• Ensure completion of risk governance and compliance program activities, including remediation and issue‑management lifecycle progress.
• Work with management to develop and adhere to an internal mortgage origination state and federal regulatory disclosure review schedule.
• Act as backup for regulatory exams, consumer complaints, and other responsibilities as needed.
• Contribute to other compliance‑related projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in mortgage compliance.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to mortgage lending.
• Familiarity with the regulatory landscape, including enforcement trends and remediation of findings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work directly with regulators and senior management.
• Strong research, computer, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent analytical reasoning, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
