Overview

Sr. Financial Analyst | Energy / Oil & Gas | Competitive Compensation & Benefits

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to support the corporate finance function within an energy and industrial services organization. This role works closely with senior finance leadership and participates in monthly close, financial reporting, and forward-looking analysis. It offers hands-on exposure to core accounting and financial processes, visibility across the business, and growth within a stable, performance-driven environment.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including budget vs. forecast variance analysis and trend identification
• Perform detailed general ledger, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Partner with operations and management to investigate expense variances and provide actionable financial insights
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, SOX control testing, ad-hoc reporting, and special projects as needed
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while adhering to internal policies and procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience preferred
• Strong income statement analysis skills to support monthly close
• Exposure to oil & gas or industrial operations is a plus
• Experience with a large ERP system (SAP preferred)
