Our client, a leading boutique wealth management firm headquartered in Houston, TX, is seeking a Tax Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with a strong individual tax background who is looking to deepen their expertise in aUHNW space that combines tax, investment management, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review individual tax returns (1040) for ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Manage tax compliance workflows and deadlines across a high-net-worth client base
- Coordinate with wealth advisors and the broader planning team on client matters
- Support financial planning initiatives outside of busy season
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes relevant to individual and UHNW taxation
- 5+ years of individual tax experience
- Strong 1040 and UHNW client background essential
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Collaborative team player with a growth-oriented mindset
- Prior experience within a wealth management or multi-family office environment
- Openness to financial planning exposure and expanding beyond pure compliance
