A growing independent wealth management firm is looking to add a Senior Investment Associate to its investment team in Houston. The role offers direct exposure to portfolio management, investment research, client strategy, and asset allocation across high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct manager, fund, and market research across public and private investments
- Support portfolio construction and ongoing asset allocation decisions
- Prepare investment memos, performance analysis, and client materials
- Monitor portfolios and assist with investment committee initiatives
- Partner closely with advisors and senior leadership on client strategy and investment implementation
- Assist with due diligence across alternative investment opportunities
- 3–6 years of experience in investment management, wealth management, OCIO, family office, or related fields
- Strong understanding of portfolio construction and capital markets
- Experience working with high-net-worth client portfolios preferred
- CFA designation or progress toward CFA is a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills
