Senior Specialist, Client Operations - CLO Reporting

As part of BNY’s Corporate Trust business (Structured Debt Platform), the CLO Reporting Analyst Team delivers timely, accurate, and insightful reporting on Collateralized Loan Obligations for internal stakeholders and external investors. The role partners with Analytics, Operations, Client Service, and other stakeholders to support BNY’s strategic pillars—Be More for our Clients, Run our Company Better, and Power our Culture—by ensuring transparent communication, operational excellence, and a collaborative mindset.

• Own and run portfolio Compliance and waterfall models, preparing quality first‑draft reports for the CLO Reporting team.
• Agree on test results with clients, discussing inputs/parameters that affect those tests.
• Resolve basic modelling issues; coordinate with Analytics for significant model changes.
• Collaborate with Position Services to resolve exceptional data problems.
• Act as liaison between Position Servicing and Client Service Manager to ensure smooth communication and task coordination.
• Incorporate client/auditor feedback on test results and models.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in quantitative finance and technology preferred.
• Prior experience in CLO, structured finance, or fixed‑income reporting preferred.
• Experience in analytical roles such as financial modeling, valuation models, or data analytics.
• Proficiency in VBA/SQL valuable.
• No direct reports; provides guidance to junior analysts and primarily responsible for the accuracy and quality of own and team work.
