Investment Operations Associate

Our client is a well-established and growing investment management organization seeking an Investment Operations Associate to support trading, portfolio reporting, investment operations, and data integrity initiatives. This individual will work closely with investment, operations, and advisory teams to help ensure efficient execution of investment processes and the accuracy of portfolio data across multiple systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience within investment operations, wealth management, asset management, or financial services
• Securities licensing or willingness to obtain required registrations
• Experience working with custodial and portfolio management platforms
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments

• Progress toward a professional designation such as CFA®, CFP®, or similar credential
• Experience supporting investment operations within a growing advisory, investment management, or financial services organization

• Support daily trading and portfolio maintenance activities
• Monitor account activity, cash positions, and portfolio alignment
• Assist with trade-related inquiries, corrections, and operational requests
• Support reconciliation efforts between custodial and portfolio accounting systems

• Prepare and validate portfolio and client reporting
• Assist with performance reporting and investment analysis
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of investment data across systems
• Support reporting needs for internal leadership and investment committees
• Assist with periodic client billing processes
• Review calculations and help resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding operational matters

• Support integrations and data flows between investment, reporting, and CRM platforms
• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and operational issues
• Help maintain the integrity of investment and client data across multiple systems

• Maintain operational documentation and procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and reporting accuracy
• Participate in technology and workflow enhancement initiatives
