POSITION TITLE:
Plant Controller

GENERAL FUNCTION
The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and other required reporting. The Controller will develop internal control policies, guidelines and procedures for activities such as budget administration and accounting as well as help determine short and long-term financial objectives, policies and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Establish and maintain internal controls to support the financial infrastructure.
* Present financial reporting and potential risk areas to senior management.
* Oversee accounting, financial reporting, analysis and preparation of the consolidated financial statements, including schedules for tax compliance.
* Evaluate all reports and maintain financial accuracy for all plant processes and analyze all business trends and provide required explanations.
* Provide support to all ad hoc projects and analyze all financial presentation efficiently to provide support to all activities and recommend improvement to all business practices and processes.
* Provide information for and assist with the various internal and external audits performed at the Roaring River facility.
* Monitor all activities and ensure compliance to all corporate standards.
* Develop profit and loss metrics to facilitate key performance indicators.
* Evaluate all plant transaction according to accounting procedures.
* Perform all financial forecasts, prepare all reports and provide an efficient interface with all customers to resolve all payment issues and develop and achieve all objectives.
* Manage and obtain approval for requests on capital expenditures and maintain controls on plant processes within required budget and prepare reports to summarize all business activities.
* Evaluate all performance of various plant activities and ensure achievement of all goals and prepare and analyze all financial statements.

KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor degree in financing, accounting, economics or business administration
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or similar function
Knowledge of business principles
Must have experience with the SAP system and good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
COMMENTS
Must have excellent written/verbal skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
Must work safely wearing all required PPE
Possible occasional travel in the field
