EOG's Land Administration department is seeking an experienced oil and gas title professional to join the team as a Senior Title Analyst, with primary responsibilities centered on lease and division order analysis. This role is essential to supporting EOG's exploration and production objectives by ensuring timely lease payments, accurate royalty distribution, and current interest ownership across all records. The ideal candidate brings experience interpreting and applying lease terms, performing ownership updates, and handling royalty-related matters, and thrives in a highly collaborative, detail‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor lease status and transfer acreage to producing based on plats and unit summaries
* Coordinate with division landmen through the land calendar to tender lease extension, minimum royalty, shut‑in, and other required payments, and ensure all lease obligations are met
* Interpret and apply lease provisions and terms of contracts, including communitization agreements, unit declarations, joint operating agreements, and farmout agreements
* Perform well-record maintenance for EOG‑operated properties using information received from division operations
* Build and maintain joint interest billing decks based on approved title reports
* Analyze title opinions and division of interest spreadsheets to create and maintain complex burdened division of interest decks for producing properties
* Review curative and conveyance documents - including deeds, probate filings, and assignments - to update mineral, royalty, and working interest ownership
* Communicate with interest owners to resolve inquiries and obtain documentation necessary for title curative and owner account updates
* Verify EOG's ownership interest in outside‑operated wells
* Provide support for acquisitions, divestitures, due diligence, audits, data conversions, and escheatment
* Collaborate effectively with Land, Legal, Accounting, and other internal departments to support company objectives
* Perform all duties in compliance with EOG's SOX control requirements and operational processes, with a strong emphasis on data integrity
