A law firm seeks a senior-level tax credit finance associate or counsel to join its team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling tax credit transactions, including historic and new markets tax credits.
Duties- Lead or assist in the initial structuring of tax credit transactions.
- Review financial projections and negotiate business and legal issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate tax equity and loan documents and opinions.
- Conduct necessary due diligence and manage projects effectively.
- 7+ years of relevant law firm experience in tax credit finance.
- Proficiency in handling all facets of tax credit transactions.
- Strong academic record with a J.D. from a nationally recognized law school.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
CertificationsBar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
Skills- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
