Position Title:
Relationship Manager Sr - CRE
Location:

- New Business Origination:
Develops and maintains relationships to generate direct deal flow; coordinates the team approach to approving and closing new deals to grow assets and revenues while optimizing profitability (ROE). - Team Lead:
Orients, mentors, trains and assists Relationship Managers; leads troubleshooting of escalated issues; monitors and assists with the most complex/high risk deals; monitors workload and quality of the team’s production; promotes team approach, drives group revenues while optimizing profitability (ROE). - Relationship Management:
Works with assigned portfolio managers, engages with sponsors and borrowers on idea generation and relevant opportunities to expand our relationship. - Strategic Planning:
Partners with management to create action plans that ensure the achievement of goals; tracks production and revenue, and forecasting results for management based on existing pipelines. - Credit Quality:
Works with assigned portfolio managers to ensure proactive monitoring of the credit quality of the portfolio through timely financial statement gathering; monitors client compliance, analyzes financial information, and takes or recommends appropriate corrective actions; ultimately responsible for managing the bank’s risk exposure to acceptable levels. - Maintaining Knowledge:
Stays abreast of industry trends and market conditions that could impact the assigned portfolio of relationships and borrowers. - Talent Management:
Responsible for employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements. - Additional Accountabilities:
Performs special projects and additional duties and responsibilities as required; consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards; maintains compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Education:
Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business, Finance or related field. - Experience:
15+ years in Commercial Real Estate; 5+ years in Commercial Real Estate Lending Relationship Management and/or commercial lending sales; some experience in commercial credit may substitute for production experience. - Credit training preferred.
- Competencies:
Expert knowledge of commercial lending credit, underwriting and loan structuring; expert analytical skills; highly developed negotiation skills; excellent verbal and written communication; highly organized with ability to manage competing demands and deadlines; computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel; ability to mentor and lead a team; demonstrates strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders; aligns relationship building efforts with enterprise goals;
builds trusted client relationships; fosters positive work culture.
Some travel may be required. Physical demands (ADA):
The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
