We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growing organization that offers a great work environment and excellent career progression. The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in the financial management of the company, including managing high volume transactions, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accurate month-end close processes.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and record high volume transactions and journal entries in accordance with GAAP. Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare and analyze income statements and balance sheets. Collaborate with other finance team members to improve financial procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Participate in financial audits and work closely with auditors to ensure the accuracy of financial information.

Support the finance team in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within the finance industry. Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in preparing journal entries and managing high volume transactions. Experience in Big 4 or Public Accounting is highly desirable. Proven experience in month-end close processes and preparing income statements and balance sheets. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. CPA certification is a plus.
