What We Are Looking For
Key point of contact with internal and external customers on the various Kinder Morgan interstate natural gas pipelines.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Contract processing for new service requests and amendments to existing requests.
- Determining and administering contractual rights as defined by the Tariff.
- Contract Administrator works closely with the customer, Marketing, Legal and Regulatory to ensure that all FERC imposed processes and reporting requirements are followed with new and amended requests.
- Analysis and processing of contractual Right of First Refusal (ROFR) and Rollover tariff provisions. Also responsible for administering negotiated rollover provisions.
- Capacity Release assistance to external customers.
- Administering the Capacity Release program in accordance with the appropriate Tariff structure and NAESB deadlines.
- Rate entry for Park and Loan (PALS) and other transportation services.
- Documentation of all contractual activity.
- Ensuring executed contracts and all relevant correspondence reaches final records retention.
- Facilitating name changes and company mergers.
- Problem resolution, project work, audit reports, and systems testing are required of this position.
- Following through to appropriate areas within the company concerning issues relating to all the above.
- Processing of Agency Agreements.
- May include other related duties as assigned.
- Proficient in PC applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Internet Explorer.
- Ability to utilize strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a wide range of departments and customers, both internal and external.
- Capacity to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks under stringent deadlines.
- Must be able to work within a team, take direction from supervisors, and focus attention on details.
- 5 years professional work experience preferred.
- Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill sets.
- High School diploma.
- College degree preferred - business related major.
- Working knowledge of Kinder Morgan’s DART system.
- Working knowledge of each Kinder Morgan Pipeline’s tariff specifically focusing on the pipeline transportation and storage services areas.
- Working knowledge of NAESB Standards and Guidelines as it relates to Contracts, Capacity Release and Transactional Reporting.
The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
