Investment Banking Associate - Energy & Power

We are looking for an Investment Banking Associate to join our Energy & Power team in the Houston, TX office. The role offers the opportunity to gain experience in M&A, debt, equity and equity‑linked transactions while preparing valuations, writing memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements, and participating in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings.

• Prepare valuations and write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements.
• Conduct M&A analyses and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings.
• Structure and execute transactions, including debt, equity and equity‑linked deals.
• Serve as a backup or key contact for important client relationships and assume new business responsibilities.

• Three (3) years of experience in financial analysis, transaction execution or related work in investment banking, private equity, or oil & gas.
• Exceptional work ethic, high enthusiasm, initiative and leadership potential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop rapport with existing and potential clients.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial modeling.
• Highly motivated team player who can thrive in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.
• Degree in finance, business, management, engineering, science or related field; an MBA would be an asset.
• U.S. work eligibility required.

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $135,000 – $225,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation, which will be part of total compensation competitive with the market.
