As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join their Houston-based team and play a key role in supporting and developing their market coverage across the Americas.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced market analyst with a background in crude oil or refined products pricing to take ownership of a key market segment within a growing benchmark and data business.

The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Americas oil markets to help maintain robust pricing methodologies, engage directly with market participants, and contribute to the development and adoption of trusted market benchmarks. This role offers significant visibility, ownership, and the opportunity to influence product development while building a strong industry profile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of either the crude oil or refined products pricing module, including daily index generation and methodology application
  • Build and maintain relationships with market participants, traders, brokers, and data contributors
  • Develop trade- and data-driven market insights that explain and contextualize price movements
  • Partner with commercial teams to support client understanding and adoption of pricing and market data products
  • Contribute to the research, design, and launch of new benchmark markets and pricing products
  • Support webinars, market commentary, publications, and other thought‑leadership initiatives
  • Mentor and support junior analysts, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing across the team
  • Help maintain the highest standards of data integrity, transparency, and market engagement
Education, Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative disciplin
  • Minimum 3 years' experience covering crude oil or refined products markets within a recognized Price Reporting Agency (PRA
  • Strong knowledge of Americas crude oil or refined products pricing methodologie
  • Proven ability to source market intelligence and develop relationships with industry participant
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detai
  • Naturally curious, commercially aware, and solutions-oriente
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting market views and insight
  • Genuine interest in commodity markets and benchmark pricin
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
