An established, multibillion-dollar global technology organization is seeking a International Tax Manager to support its North American and cross-border tax operations. The company provides highly engineered services, products, and robotic solutions to clients across offshore energy, defense, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
This role will play a key part in managing tax obligations and strategic initiatives within a complex international footprint. The position offers significant exposure to global operations and leadership while contributing to both compliance and forward-looking tax planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee income tax provision activities for multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Manage U.S. international tax calculations and reporting, including areas such as foreign income inclusions, global minimum tax considerations, and cross-border tax credits
- Coordinate and review tax filings prepared internally and by external advisors, including complex international informational returns
- Ensure ongoing compliance with domestic and international tax regulations across the organization’s footprint
- Support financial reporting processes by maintaining and reconciling tax accounts, including deferred tax positions and uncertain tax reserves
- Partner with finance and operational teams to evaluate tax impacts of business activities and strategic initiatives
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments globally and assess implications to the company
- Contribute to tax‑efficient structuring, planning strategies, and cash tax optimization
- Lead or assist with cross‑border projects, including restructurings and intercompany initiatives
- Oversee transfer pricing compliance efforts, including documentation and reporting requirements across jurisdictions
- Drive process improvements within the tax function, including implementation of automation or technology solutions
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members and support their professional development
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Approximately 7+ years of relevant tax experience within public accounting, industry, or a combination of both
- Strong background in U.S. international tax concepts and compliance requirements
- Experience with tax provision processes under ASC 740 or similar frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Advanced degree in Taxation, Law, or related discipline
- CPA or progress toward certification
- Exposure to multinational tax environments and non-U.S. tax rules
- Familiarity with tax and ERP systems (e.g., ONESOURCE, Oracle, or similar platforms)
- Experience working with data tools or automation solutions is a plus
