Reverse Mortgage Processor

Longbridge is seeking a qualified Reverse Mortgage Processor to join our Operations Team in the Houston, TX office. The role involves gathering and reviewing loan file documents, performing pre‑review checks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and communicating with all stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan processing from submission to closing.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Process applications from submission, through underwriting, to closing.
  • Communicate daily with loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, closers, AMCs, and title companies.
  • Review, upload, organize, and label file documentation into the loan imaging system.
  • Analyze credit, income, tax returns, asset documents, and payment history.
  • Clear loan conditions for final approval.
  • Perform final data review prior to closing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client files.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior with colleagues, management, and customers at all times.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of FHA processing experience preferred.
  • Must have reverse mortgage processing experience.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance: TILA, RESPA, Reg B, Reg C, etc.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and use problem‑solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with all customers.
  • Highly motivated to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working in a growing and dynamic industry is a plus.
