Account Reconciliation Specialist

The Account Reconciliation Specialist prepares financial reports, analyzes financial data, and supports accurate payment reconciliation. This role helps management understand financial trends, expenses, revenues, and budget-related assumptions.

• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Report the organization's finances to management.
• Offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
• Verify accuracy, research discrepancies, and reconcile payment errors.
• Resolve and report issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Communicate issues and resolutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work on special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Accounting profession.
• Excellent organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills.
• Ability to ensure payments are posted correctly into customer accounts.
• Positive demeanor and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
• Ability to work under immediate supervision.
