Equity Analyst

We are a Houston-based family office seeking an Investment Analyst to support portfolio management across US and international equity and fixed income markets. The role involves fundamental company research and stock picking, financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence on external investment managers, broker and custodian communication, and preparation of internal reports and investment presentations. The analyst will report directly to the Portfolio Manager in a lean, high-accountability environment.

CFA Level 1 required;
Level 2 or charter holder strongly preferred
. 2–4 years of experience in asset management or investment research required. On-site, Houston TX. Compensation commensurate with experience.

• 2–4 years of experience in asset management or investment research
• Level 1 CFA required;
  Level 2 or charter holder strongly preferred
• Strong fundamental analysis and equity valuation skills (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
• Fixed income knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in Bloomberg and Excel
• Experience with manager due diligence and external manager evaluation
• Ability to communicate professionally with brokers, custodians, and external managers
• High level of integrity and discretion
• Self-starter, able to work independently in a small team
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required
• On-site availability in Houston, TX required
