Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Associate in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of tax credit experience, with a focus on real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. Candidates in St. Louis are strongly preferred, but consideration will be given to those in Houston, including virtual office options. An active bar license in the corresponding state is required or must be obtained promptly.
Duties- Advise clients on tax credit matters and strategies.
- Collaborate on real estate finance projects.
- Engage in New Markets Tax Credits transactions.
- Conduct legal research and draft related documents.
- Minimum of four years of tax credit experience.
- Experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
- Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
CertificationsActive bar membership in the relevant state.
