The Finance Specialist – Income Statement acts as a key business partner to functional teams, providing financial leadership, analysis, and insights to support operational performance and strategic decision‑making. This role ensures accurate and timely reporting of indirect costs, supports planning cycles, and drives continuous improvement through data, tools, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a business partner to functional operating teams, supporting initiatives that drive growth, profitability, and accountability.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of functional indirect costs through standardized, streamlined quarterly processes.
- Provide financial leadership in the coordination and preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly operating rhythms.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews aligned with business priorities.
- Lead and monitor monthly and quarterly estimates, tracking execution against key operational and financial metrics.
- Deliver variance analysis and actionable insights to support informed business decision‑making.
- Support cross‑functional initiatives to drive productivity, cost synergies, and organizational efficiency.
- Leverage data, digital tools, and analytical capabilities to identify cost‑reduction opportunities and enhance financial transparency.
- University or college bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma/GED with at least four years of experience in finance).
- Minimum of three years of experience in income statement management or financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and presenting financial insights.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to lead initiatives and work across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate several projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and financial systems to improve performance and reporting.
