We are seeking Investment Banking Analysts who are intellectually curious, technically strong, and excited to play a meaningful role in shaping our growing franchise. You will be embedded within the Energy & Energy Transition sector coverage team, supporting execution across M&A, capital raises, strategic advisory, and leveraged finance transactions.

As an Analyst in Investment Banking Coverage, you will join a team with a strong track record and play a key role in expanding Santander's energy practice.
- Support deal execution, including preparing pitch books, client presentations, and transaction materials
- Perform detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analysis
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate across internal teams and client counter parties
- Actively participate in client meetings and deal discussions
- Conduct in-depth industry and company research to support origination and client strategy
- Engage directly with senior bankers and clients, contributing to live transactions and developing strategic insights

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, STEM, or a related field – Required
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, accounting/audit, or within the energy or infrastructure sector – Preferred
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and investment banking products, with energy experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and valuation
- High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to contribute to team building and culture
It would be nice for you to have:
- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
- FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 63, Series 79) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
