**** Role Overview:
** We are seeking Investment Banking Analysts who are intellectually curious, technically strong, and excited to play a meaningful role in shaping our growing franchise. You will be embedded within the Energy & Energy Transition sector coverage team, supporting execution across M&A, capital raises, strategic advisory, and leveraged finance transactions.

** As an Analyst in Investment Banking Coverage, you will join a team with a strong track record and play a key role in expanding Santander’s energy practice.
* Support deal execution, including preparing pitch books, client presentations, and transaction materials
* Perform detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analysis
* Manage due diligence processes and coordinate across internal teams and client counter parties
* Actively participate in client meetings and deal discussions
* Conduct in-depth industry and company research to support origination and client strategy
* Engage directly with senior bankers and clients, contributing to live transactions and developing strategic insights

* To perform this role successfully, candidates should demonstrate the following:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, STEM, or a related field – Required
* 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, accounting/audit, or within the energy or infrastructure sector – Preferred
* Strong understanding of corporate finance and investment banking products, with energy experience preferred
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and valuation
* High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to contribute to team building and culture
** It Would Be Nice For You To Have:
*** Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
* FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 63, Series 79) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
