Senior Net Revenue Analyst – Remote/Hybrid (based on business needs), Houston, TX.
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Net Revenue Analyst to join a healthcare finance team supporting complex net revenue reporting, reimbursement analysis, and financial operations. This role is responsible for analyzing reimbursement trends, supporting the monthly financial close process, developing reserve methodologies, and providing critical financial insights to leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead net revenue analysis, reporting, and reimbursement trend analysis.
- Support the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial data and identify trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain net revenue reserve methodologies.
- Prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Monitor commercial and government reimbursement changes and assess financial impact.
- Produce managed care contract performance and reimbursement reports.
- Partner with finance leadership and cross-functional departments on revenue cycle initiatives.
- Support net revenue software implementations and process improvement projects.
- Mentor junior analysts and serve as a technical resource for the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of healthcare net revenue or reimbursement experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Kodiak (Crowe RCA). Applicants without Kodiak/Crowe RCA experience will not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including commercial and government payors.
- Experience with financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue accounting.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Lawson, EPSI, Crowe RCA (Kodiak), and other financial reporting systems.
- Experience supporting external audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of managed care contract analysis.
- Experience leading process improvements and financial system implementations.
- Active participation in the Crowe RCA user community.
