Credit & Collections Analyst

The Credit Analyst reports directly to the Credit Manager and is responsible for evaluating customer creditworthiness, analyzing financial data, and supporting risk management decisions to minimize company exposure while maintaining competitive terms.

• Process new credit applications, review and set credit limits and terms, and determine account eligibility.
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assess credit requests including new applications, changes, refinancing, and annual due diligence.
• Support daily credit review and order release processes, including handling cash receipts and accounts‑receivable settlement.
• Prepare and analyze accounts‑receivable aging and DSO reports, and provide recommendations to improve cash flow.
• Communicate with internal departments (e.g., collections, legal, finance) to gather necessary information and resolve credit issues.
• Perform credit and collections functions for a high‑volume account portfolio, ensuring adherence to credit department goals and objectives.
• Assist in transaction underwriting, credit approval processes, and portfolio management for commercial real‑estate and real‑estate‑backed loans.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or related areas.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in reviewing financial statements and calculating key metrics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of credit policies, collections practices, and compliance requirements.

Houston, TX (on‑site or hybrid work arrangement). Compensation ranges from $18.00–$20.00 per hour or $52,000–$54,400 per year, depending on experience and role level.
