Sr. FP&A Analyst

Sr. FP&A Analyst – Houston, TX

We are seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Houston team and drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision support for Kirby’s Distribution & Services business.

• Own core budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for key areas of the business
• Partner with Finance and Operations leaders to deliver insights that influence strategy and business decisions
• Analyze results, variances, trends, and business drivers to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvements
• Create executive‑ready reports, dashboards, and presentations that improve visibility and decision‑making
• Support monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting with a sharp focus on quality and accuracy
• Contribute to business case modeling, scenario analysis, and ad hoc projects tied to growth and profitability
• Help strengthen reporting, improve processes, and enhance the tools leaders use to manage the business
• Build expertise and gain exposure to senior stakeholders in a collaborative, high‑performance environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills;
  Power BI experience is a plus
