Credit Analyst

Job Overview

A Credit Analyst provides analytical support to lending officers in assessing creditworthiness and risk, assists with financial analysis, sets credit limits, and supports credit and risk management decisions to minimize exposure while maintaining volume and profitability.

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other data to determine credit risk.
• Support commercial and infrastructure credit underwriting, including detailed financial analysis.
• Set credit limits and terms where appropriate and assist with risk management decisions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed credit files and reports for new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with credit managers and underwriters on pricing, covenant monitoring, and portfolio performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• Minimum 2‑5 years of credit analysis or banking experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and credit analysis software.
• Experience with commercial and infrastructure credit is a plus (senior‑level roles may require 6+ years of experience).
