Chief Financial Officer - CFO

Job OverviewOur commercial lines P&C client is seeking a CFO to lead all financial activities with an eye for expense controls, strategic planning, and advanced financial and trend analysis. The CFO will work closely with the CEO in oversight of expense controls, planning and forecasting to run a very sleek ship.
Responsibilities- Lead all financial activities focusing on expense controls.
- Drive strategic planning, advanced financial and trend analysis.
- Oversee expense controls, planning and forecasting in partnership with the CEO.
- Champion financial system automation and innovation.
- Manage risk and ensure compliance.
- 10+ years of P&C insurance accounting leadership and growth, with demonstrated upward advancement.
- Strong FP&A – planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Expertise in STAT/GAAP, all reporting and accounting related matters.
- Experience with Oracle, People Soft, and Excel.
- Financial system automation/innovation.
- Financial and trend analysis.
- Risk management and expense controls.
- Compliance experience.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Collaborative, outgoing manner and strong culture fit.
Bonus eligible with a discretionary target around 20%. Relocation assistance negotiable. Benefit overview looks very good.
