The company is seeking a Senior Tax Attorney to join its in-house Tax Planning te
am, with a primary focus on supporting M&A and strategic transactio
n
s.This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, deal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders on sophisticated domestic and international transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong transactional tax background and experience modeling and structuring complex deal
Key Responsibilities- ies Provide tax support across the full lifecycle of transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and financial model
- ing Advise on M&A transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, restructurings, and financi
- ngs Serve as the U.S. federal income tax lead on assigned projects; identify and coordinate state and non-income tax considerati
- ons Partner closely with legal, finance, and business teams to assess tax implications of strategic initiati
- ves Analyze relevant U.S. and international tax laws to support tax planning strateg
- ies Collaborate with external advisors (law firms, Big 4 firms) on complex tax matt
- ers Develop, review, and refine financial models to assess tax consequences of transaction structu
- res Draft and review tax provisions in transaction docume
- nts Prepare technical tax memoranda and opini
- ons Clearly communicate complex tax concepts to internal stakeholders and senior leaders
