SummaryRenewa is currently looking for a Houston-based Senior Finance Associate to support investment underwriting, portfolio analysis, and strategic decision making across the platform. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys building models, improving processes, and being deeply involved in how we evaluate and manage investments. The ideal candidate is analytically rigorous, self‑directed, and comfortable operating in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, asset performance, and capital deployment decisions.
- Support the development of investment memoranda, internal reporting, and materials for senior management.
- Identify and help implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the finance function.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to support transaction execution and ongoing asset management.
- Own and manage proprietary datasets, including aggregation, validation, and summarization of large data sets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in either:
- Investment banking (bulge bracket or top‑tier platform), preferable with energy or renewables exposure.
- Finance, corporate development, or buy‑side investment roles at a major renewable energy developer or investment firm.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear conclusions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of accuracy.
